One Piece-Getting Closer to a Great Finale! (November 2024)

The finale of One Piece is one of the most awaited Finales in the history of Manga. It’s a well planned series which had been keeping the readers engaged for the last three decades. Due to the popularity of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda is expected to provide a well planned and engaging finale to the readers inorder to get the fruit of all the efforts he had been putting in this series since the beginning of One Piece.

As one of the most hyped Manga-One Piece is moving towards it’s conclusion, still, there are many unanswered questions in the reader’s minds and many unresolved mysteries that need to be addressed. Egghead Arc is the Arc leading One Piece to its Final Saga, however, as the unresolved mysteries are still existing and Egghead is also reaching to it’s conclusion, points at the chances of release of some more arcs before the finale.

Loose Plot Points of One Piece

As the One Piece is heading towards it’s farewell, there are some plot points which need to be cleared so that the story becomes more well delivered. These unanswered questions are regarding the following things:

The Treasure of One Piece

The protagonist of One Piece Monkey D. Luffy has been in search of the Legendary Treasure left by the late King of Pirates Gol D Roger. It is said to be the greatest treasure in the world and whoever finds this treasure will become the owner of great wealth and power. It is also wondered that maybe this treasure have different artifacts, incredible riches and secrets of the world. However, the nature of this treasure has never been disclosed in any of the arcs of One Piece and remains an unresolved mystery among the readers.

Mysteries of the History

Other unresolved plot points are related to the Void Century, Ancient Weapons, the Poneglyphs, Joy Boy and the Great Kingdom which are expected to have a strong connection to the events of Great War which led to the formation of World Government.

There remains a debate among the readers that these plot points can only be cleared by either by discovering the original One Piece Treasure on Laughland or by clarifying Rio Poneglyph.

Immortality of Imu and Five Elders

Another mystery in regarding One Piece is tied to immortality, long lifespan and powers of Imu and Five Elders who are the strongest decision making bodies. These features of Imu and Five Elders are shrouded in mystery as they resemble that of Haki and Devil Fruits.

Many questions are regarding Blackbeard’s heritage and his capability to wield multiple Devil fruits. Also, the Rock Pirates were a famous crew of pirates which considered to be extremely powerful but there remains some secrets regarding them and it is also mentioned that they were involved in God Valley incident. Blackbeard had also been a part of Rocks Pirates in past, therefore, he can be the key to disclosure of secrets of Rocks Pirates and their involvements in the famous God Valley incident.

Origin of Devil Fruits Will of D.

Devil fruits have been depicted as the fruits which give supernatural powers to it’s consumer. The protagonist of One Piece-Luffy had consumed a devil fruit which gave him the power to super stretch himself. However, the origin of devil fruit is a mystery.

There is a mysterious phenomenon in One Piece that is believed to tie together various characters and events towards great destinies. This concept only applies to people with the initial D in their name and is most commonly referred to as THE WILL OF D.

Story of Egghead Arc so Far

As the Egghead Arc is closer to its conclusion, Vegas punk is about to reveal the secret of One Piece world which Five Elders never wanted to reveal. This will be a pivotal plot of One Piece which will answer queries of the readers but would also introduce some new mysteries among the fans. It is possible that these queries will be addressed in the Elbaf Arc and the upcoming arcs.

There lies a possibility that this revelation can bring a huge change in the world if revealed accurately. It will definitely be resolving many mysteries making the Elbaf Arc more clear as the readers will get to know about the origin nd scenarios of the Void Century and World Government History. Another point of interest is story of Joy Boy and Sun God Nika, who was revealed to be a legendary warrior figure in Elbaf.

Outcomes of Elbaf Arc

Significant Reunions:

Many awaited significant reunions are about to happen in the Elbaf Arc which would uncover some of the secrets and important information. One important reunion is of Nicorobin with Jaguar D. Saul who had saved her life when she was young.

This reunion will pour light on the connection of Nicorobin with the Giants. Another reunion is of Shanks and Luffy. This reunion will be a major turning point in the story as Shanks is the person who inspired Luffy to become a Pirate.

Revelation by Vegaspunk:

The revelation of the secret of One Piece World will be a game changer. It is highly expected that this revelation by Vegaspunk and Giants through the writings recovered from the library of Ohara will provide answers to many mysteries related to the Void Century. And even if Vegaspunk do not reveal the secret completely, still many clarifications and information will be provided to the fans in Elbaf.

Anticipating battles:

After finding out the secrets, Straw Hats would either directly go to the Laughland Island or there may go on journeys on some other destinations before the finale. However, there can be some other battles like the battle between Shanks and Blackbeard, Luffy might confront Ace’s killer Akainu and a great climatic fight against Imu and the Five Elders.

There also lies a possibility that the Final fight of luffy would be against Blackbeard which definitely be the most legendary battle which might occur after 2 or 3 arcs.

The Final Fight

The possibility of a Grand Final Fight foreshadowing the events of Marineford Arc, has been talked about a lot, especially now, as the Straw hats are having a strong rivalry with the Five Elders, However it is not known exactly that who will be the opponents in Final Battle. Either this battle will be against the World Government or some other antagonists but it is certain that a massive battle will be held in the finale of One Piece, which have never been seen in the entire One Piece World.

Analysis for the Final Arc

This massive battle needs a lot of preparation and complete plot which is not possible to be built within the ongoing arc.

A minimum of one whole arc is must, just for the set up this massive fight and then separate a arc would be needed in which the war will be held. At a conservative estimate, it is possible that the final Saga will have around 4 to 5 more arcs. A more generous estimate points at 6 or 7 more arcs maximum. Further estimates might be way too much as the arcs have kept getting longer as the story moves ahead.

The pre-time skip sagas usually lasted in3 to 5 arcs on an average. However, the journey of Straw Hats in the New World have fewer but prolonged arcs among which key arcs have taken more then fifty chapters to conclude their story.

Keeping an eye on these analysis, it is unlikely that we will bid farewell to One Piece in just one or two more arcs as Egghead Arc it already near to its completion and Elbaf Arc is about be initiated. However, It may seem balanced to expect minimum of three to four more arcs until Straw Hats reach to the end of their journey and bring about the “Dawn of the World”.
